During the Big Business Pitch they will have the opportunity to meet a number of different business people from a number of different backgrounds all having had many different experiences of their own that they can share with students.
The Big Business Pitch allows the students to work as part of a team to achieve an outcome. During the week the students will take part in teambuilding activities and will go to motivational sessions, which look at how they can motivate each other and can learn from each other’s experiences. This develops their understanding of listening and communicating and builds on their confidence levels.
At the end of the Big Business Pitch the students will have gained a number of different skills but importantly will have Enterprise capability:
- Innovation
- Creativity
- Risk-management
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- The drive to make ideas happen
Enterprise Education is all about developing the ’soft’ skills that make an individual better able to cope with life, to contribute to any organisation they are involved in and, ultimately, become more employable.
